Benefits of Himalayan sandstone
There are a number of reasons why we import and distribute only Himalayan sandstone. Not only does it look the best because of its amazingly consistent colouring and texture, but it is much safer due to its superior non-slip surface properties, especially around pools, wet areas or uncovered paths.
Himalayan sandstone is up to 10 times as dense as sandstone found in Australia. It is also less porous, meaning it is stronger and much more stain resistant.

In addition, Himalayan sandstone is much more suited for use around salt water pools in particular - even more so when properly sealed.
All Hayda natural sandstone products are tested to Australian Standards and consequently have been approved for being slip and salt resistant.
