"I would happily recommend the Hayda Anti-Skid sandstone to anyone. I have been extremely happy with it. Initially I was concerned that it felt really smooth and if it got wet the kids would slip. I went to a pool where the same stone was laid and drenched the tiles, then the kids and I ran up and down. It was amazing – completely non-slip.
The added benefit with this gorgeous non-slip stone is there is no pulling or ripping of cozzies when you get in and out of the pool. Also, they are light in colour and reflect the heat so in summer they don’t burn our feet. We also got matching stepping stones to put in the garden, as a path to the gate, which are cut into the grass and look great. Another good point is the stone is salt resistant and doesn’t erode. We have them underwater in the pool. I would recommend sealing the product with a good quality sealer, but was advised of this by Hayda prior to purchase.
Finally, the good thing about Hayda is not just the product, it is the service. One of the Hayda staff came and measured and the stock arrived promptly. I was advised if there was a problem or we were short they would rectify the matter. We did run short, due to the laying, not the measuring, and within the day additional tiles were delivered by a Hayda staff member, which meant that work wasn’t affected.
